This role is designed for a candidate with strong law firm-based patent prosecution experience who can handle sophisticated chemistry, pharmaceutical, and small molecule matters, while also supporting client counseling, opinion work, and Patent Office litigation.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle patent prosecution for chemistry and related technologiesSupport client counseling and opinion preparationAssist with Patent Office litigation matters, including IPR/PGR proceedingsDraft and manage technically sophisticated patent filingsWork closely with clients in a law firm environment on ongoing portfolio mattersQualificationsAt least 3+ years of relevant patent prosecution experienceMust be actively practicing in a law firm environmentMust have active USPTO registration numberTechnical degree or advanced degree in Chemistry or closely related field, or equivalent experienceChemistry, pharmaceutical, and/or small molecule prosecution experience requiredStrong technical writing skills preferredTranscripts and writing samples will be requestedCompensationPatent Agent compensation is based on internal Levels 1-4 and varies depending on education level, engineering experience, and law firm experience.
