This role supports insurance defense litigation matters by entering and managing case-related data, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence related to trial, arbitration, and mediation. The assistant is responsible for calendar management, scheduling litigation events, e-filing, and supporting case workflows that require accuracy, adaptability, and strong external communication.Key Responsibilities Monitor and maintain compliance within Team Connect (Litigation Management System)Enter, update, and manage case data, including pleadings, motions, discovery, trial, arbitration, and mediation correspondenceManage calendars and coordinate scheduling for hearings, depositions, mediations, and related litigation eventsPrepare, track, and maintain files and documentation in accordance with established proceduresCommunicate clearly and professionally with internal partners and external contacts to support case progressionMake basic case support decisions within defined guidelines and under attorney supervisionManage competing priorities and adjust to changing workflows in a litigation environmentHandle sensitive and confidential information with discretionPerform tasks accurately, efficiently, and within required timelinesExperience Administrative experience in a legal, insurance, or professional services environment, preferably supporting insurance defense litigationExperience supporting litigation activities, including scheduling and case coordinationWorking knowledge of legal terminology, civil litigation processes, and case management systems requiredFamiliarity with various Georgia courts and local procedures requiredCourt approval experience and knowledge of the Georgia court system considered a strong plusLocation This role is based in or near Atlanta, GAIn-office attendance is required 3-5 times a monthCandidates must be able to attend additional in-office meetings as business needs requireSkills AdaptabilityArbitrationCivil LitigationCollaborationCommunicationConfidentialityDefense LitigationDetail-OrientedLegal ConsultingMicrosoft Office 365OrganizingProblem SolvingCompensation Compensation offered for this role is 19.76 - 30.33 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.EEO and Policy Allstate is an equal opportunity employer.
