Position DetailsThis is an on-site position located at 2021 Peachtree Rd Ste 100, Atlanta, GA 30309, United States.This role requires that you must be within commuting distance of 45 minutes to our Atlanta clinic.This role is specifically for Sunday coverage, with part-time shifts from 6:15 AM to 7:15 PM. Scheduling will be limited to Sundays based on clinic needs.This role does not provide visa sponsorship. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and must not require employer sponsorship for a work visa (current or future).ResponsibilitiesOperation of MRI Scanner: you are responsible for patient safety, the performance of high quality Prenuvo Scans, performing and remaining current on Prenuvo Scan protocolsOrdering supplies, cleaning equipment, and scan room preparationTroubleshooting equipment issues and reporting them to the relevant department when necessaryUtilize ancillary tools and equipment appropriately: PACS and other software systemsImage Post Processing: responsible for post processing images including transfer of images to PACS, ensuring all post processing steps are completeLeadership: proven ability and interest in training new technologists in all facets of the role including patient safety, room preparation, effective communication, image acquisition, time management and post processingQualificationsA strong base knowledge of MRI imaging and patient safetyLicensed with the appropriate board: ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) (or equivalent) depending on the location of the role you are applying forBLS – Basic Life SupportCompletion of an accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) program or radiologic technology programClinical work experience of at least 2 yearsYou can understand, perform and accurately complete all examinations on MRI equipment, following clinic practices and procedureProficiency running advanced MR studies independentlyAbility to work with a multi-disciplinary team and the drive to thrive in a high-pressure, fast paced environmentDemonstrate patient care skills with an ability to explain complex medical terms and procedures in a manner that is easily understood by a non-medical audienceA willingness to learn new skillsStrong interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skillsA customer focused attitude and presentationPride in your work with an ability to critically assess image qualityBenefitsAn avenue to make a positive impact on people's lives and their healthGrowth opportunities are at the heart of our people journey, we're doing big things with bright minds - there is no single path to success, it can be shaped along the wayThe hourly rate for this role ranges from $45-$60 per hour in local currency, depending upon experienceWe are an equal‑to‑opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
