You will collaborate with our Client Account Managers and sales professionals on pursuits of strategic importance to the firm. You'll be expected to possess highly collaborative and sophisticated communication and problem‑solving skills and to anticipate challenges and manage “up and out” while supporting large teams responsible for the daily details of project delivery.QualificationsPE is required for this roleBachelor's or Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering or related disciplineAt least 10 years of engineering design and/or consulting experienceProfessional Engineering licensure (any U.S. state); additional state licenses may be required for particular projectsProven ability to engage with clients, develop relationships, win work and deliver innovative solutions that provide value to both client and providerDemonstrated ability in business growth strategy, including exploration and development of new project opportunities and knowledge of emerging technologiesExperience with proposal development and project execution planning, including scope development and man‑hour estimates for engineering servicesPassion for mentoring and development of junior technical staffStrong communication and technical writing skillsAvailability to travel as required (typically less than 50%)Availability to work at least 2 days per week in the Gainesville, FL office when not travelingOther Highly Regarded QualificationsPower distribution systems and microgridsPower generation projects exceeding 10 MW capacityHV or MV substationsRenewable energy projects (wind, solar, hydro, geothermal and other technologies)Energy storage systemsPower system modeling using SKM Power Tools, ETAP or similar softwareProtection and control, SCADA or power system automationCampus utility master planning or decarbonization/climate response planningCogeneration or combined heat and power systemsThermal utility plants and distribution systems (steam, hot water, chilled water)BenefitsOur health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you and the things you care about.
