Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.The Sales Manager will have a strong background in consumer packaged goods (CPG) or food & beverage sales, with proven success managing key retail accounts and expanding market share.Key ActivitiesDevelop and execute strategic sales plans to grow revenue across grocery, C-store, club, and independent retail channels.Manage relationships with key retail accounts and distribution partners, negotiating pricing, promotions, and contracts.Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's footprint across regional and national retail chains.Collaborate with marketing and trade teams to execute promotional strategies and in-store activations.Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and adjust strategies to meet targets.Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives, brokers, and merchandisers to ensure territory coverage and sales execution.Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for senior leadership.Ensure alignment with supply chain and operations to maintain inventory levels and fulfillment.Preferred SkillsExperience in CPG or food/beverage industry.Knowledge of syndicated data (e.g., IRI, Nielsen) and retail analytics.Prior experience working with major national and regional retailers.Educations & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.Minimum 5–7 years of sales experience, with a strong focus on grocery, C-store, or multi-channel retail.Deep understanding of retail operations, distributor networks, and buyer dynamics.Finding a great opportunity that fosters growth, a great culture, and leadership opportunities can be difficult.
