United Renewable Energy, LLC (URE) is seeking a highly organized and proactive Financial Operations Specialist to support the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of our financial systems and processes. This role plays a critical part in maintaining and analyzing contract schedules, managing cash flow, and ensuring timely and compliant financial reporting across the organization. The successful candidate will bring hands‑on experience with NetSuite, including report customization and data management, as well as a strong background in accounts payable and receivable, payroll input, bank transactions, and reconciliations. A solid understanding of sales tax tracking and filing, insurance‑related reporting, and burn reports for bonding is essential, particularly in a project‑based environment. This position requires keen attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and growing industry.ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update Work in Progress (WIP) and Contract Schedules to support revenue tracking and financial planning.Customize and generate reports using NetSuite, ensuring data accuracy and relevance for stakeholders.Assist in preparing financial models and ad hoc reports to support strategic decision‑making.Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including vendor and client communications.Perform cash flow forecasting to support strategic financial decisions.Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes, including journal entries and financial statement preparation.Prepare and maintain burn reports for bonding and insurance purposes, collaborating with project and risk management teams.Prepare documentation and assist with internal and external audits.Reconcile discrepancies between project management tools and financial systems.Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.Help develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for financial processes.Support risk assessments and mitigation planning.QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
