Position overviewResponsible for technical accounting support to all Porsche affiliates in US and Canada for Zycus system (procure to pay software). In addition, this role takes the lead to complete all statutory government reporting for assigned entities in US & Canada. Responsible to reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts (Trade payables, prepaid accounts, etc.). Other Responsibilities include general accounting, audit preparation and support, maintaining adequate internal controls. An autonomous working style with a high degree of accuracy is a crucial necessity to ensure the effective and efficient completion of these functions.The position works closely with accounting management.Maintain various sub-ledgers to support general ledger accounts and reconcile the sub-ledgers to the general ledger to ensure integrity of systems and internal controls. Provide monthly reconciliations to Manager, Corporate Accounting for review and approvalPrepare journal entries; control and reconcile assigned accountsInitiate changes in the Zycus system and monitor the interface from Zycus to SAP; monitor and audit changes made within the system; enforce and strengthen internal controlsPrepare the internal and external financial reports in IFRS; and supporting schedules as neededCreate, document, and implement process controls across multiple legal entities to include the identification of process efficiencies.Prepare audit work papers and work closely with auditors in year-end examination.Perform periodic audits of Zycus system to ensure data integritySupport the PCNA Corporate Accounting team with Zycus & SAP inquiriesProvide Zycus training, on-the-job and in specific classesMaintain and improve Zycus procure to pay softwareProvide guidance and answer questions regarding Zycus specific questionsPrepare forms and submissions needed for government reportingMaintain integration between SAP & Zycus, diagnose root cause of errors as necessaryAssist with external auditor requestsAll other duties as assignedSupport with preparing consolidated financial statementsQualificationsRequired qualifications include:Bachelors Degree in Accounting is required3-5 years accounting, financial analysis or in related area experience is requiredExtensive personal computer skills in Microsoft Office required including PowerPoint and excellence in ExcelStrong analytical skills is required; excellent communication skillsCommitment to excellenceMust be proficient and proactivePreferred qualifications include:5-7 years accounting, financial analysis or in related area experience is requiredCPA PreferredBalance Sheet reconciliation experience preferredKnowledge in SAP, and/or Zycus preferredPercentage of required travel: 5%Schedule/Shift: More than 40 hour work week may be required during high volume periodsThe salary range for this role is $85,000-$105,000. However, it is important to note that at Porsche, compensation range is dependent on geographic location. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skillset.
