Accounts Receivable Collections SpecialistFreeman Mathis and Gary, LLP is a rapidly growing, national specialty litigation firm seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist to join our Atlanta office. The Accounts Receivable Collections position is responsible for collecting funds from Insurance carriers, their policy holders, and direct-hire clients. This individual works closely with the attorneys to resolve any issues related to collecting the payment of invoices. The ideal candidate should be deadline driven, highly organized and detailed problem solvers that thrive in a team environment and understand the importance of both internal and external client service.Location: 100 Galleria Parkway, Suite 1600, Atlanta, GA 30339, USA.Unpretentious, Approachable, Respectful, Team OrientedAccountable, Takes Ownership, Corrects MistakesOrganized, Timely, Confidential, Responsive (within 24 hours)Duties and ResponsibilitiesReview and analyze accounts receivable agingResearch client accounts using electronic billing sites in order to take the appropriate actions to resolve outstanding balancesContact clients via phone calls, and email to follow-up on status of unpaid invoicesPrepare and send monthly overdue statementsNegotiate and arrange payment schedulesRecord all collection activities efforts with regularityCommunicate all collections activity with the assigned PartnerRequest application of retainers and unapplied cash for payment of invoicesProcess refund requests for remaining Trust balances and client overpaymentsCalculate deductible exhaustion for insured client mattersAudit accounts receivable ledgers as neededPrepare reports as neededEducation, Experience, and SkillsHigh School Diploma required. Bachelors' Degree preferred in a related field of study.Two to four years of AR Collections experience required.Two years in Insurance Carrier Collections preferred.Proficiency with MS Office.
