This position is responsible for executing core accounting processes in compliance with U.S. GAAP, corporate policies, and external audit requirements.The role is heavily involved in the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, cash and other balance sheet reconciliations, and financial analysis. This role offers strong exposure across the finance organization and opportunities for growth and increasing responsibility.Key Responsibilities Month-End Close & Reporting Prepare journal entries, including accruals, with appropriate supporting documentation in accordance with U.S. GAAPPerform variance analysis and deliver insights to support financial reportingComplete balance sheet reconciliations, including investigation and resolution of reconciling itemsSupport the standardization and improvement of the company-wide cash reconciliation processFinancial Analysis & Insights Analyze financial results to identify trends, risks, and opportunitiesPrepare ad hoc analyses to support business decision‑makingProcess Improvement & Cross-Functional Support Adhere to accounting policies and identify opportunities for process improvementAssist with special projects as assigned by managementPartner with FP&A, Treasury, and other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial resultsSupport external audit requests and documentation preparationSkills/Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting requiredCPA track preferred1–6 years of progressive accounting experiencePublic accounting and/or public company experience preferredStrong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial analysisAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong overall MS Office skillsStrong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking capabilitiesExcellent attention to detail, organization, and time managementEffective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams#J-18808-Ljbffr
