OverviewYou will be the Aircraft Electrical & Electronics Mechanic – C130 responsible for installing preassembled wiring harnesses in accordance with predetermined routing and fastening in place with clips, brackets, and other holding devices.ResponsibilitiesInstalling preassembled wiring harnesses in conformance with predetermined routingHooking up wiring to equipment, panels, relays, and accessoriesMaking continuity checks on primary installationsRouting wire on an electrical wiring board – pin and plug processStripping, crimping, terminating, and soldering wireQualificationsThe ideal candidate must have at least two years of aircraft electrical assembly experience, the ability to read electrical blueprints, and proficiency in wiring harness buildup, routing on a wiring board, stripping, crimping, terminating, soldering, and installing wiring harnesses in aircraft. The position requires U.S. citizenship and passing a performance demonstration test (RM3963).
