(SRS), the world's largest independent insurance company manager, is growing and looking for an accounting professional to join our US West Captive Management servicing team.As our Senior Accountant (Senior Account Manager), you will play a crucial role in managing the financial and regulatory affairs of a portfolio of captive insurance companies.This remote Utah based role is tailored for experience Captive Management Accountants who excel in precision, financial integrity, and client service delivery.Responsibilities and Duties: Work with an experienced client account team to deliver high quality financial and regulatory reportsMaintain and reconcile General LedgerPreparation and peer review of monthly and quarterly financial statementsPrepare and file premium tax returnsAccurate and timely preparation of regulatory filingsDaily verbal and written client communicationsManage client financial auditsPreparing for and attending client Board of Director meetingsLiaise with clients third party service providers and state regulatorsAttributes and Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required; CPA a plus but not required5+ years financial accounting experience; captive management or insurance industryInsurance accounting and auditing experience preferred; will consider commercial or public accounting experienceExperience with Excel and financial accounting/general ledger accounting softwareAbility to work effectively as part of a team or on individually assigned tasks in an environment where attention to detail and prioritization skills are essentialExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to travel up to 5% domestically as neededInterview Process: First: Phone Call with Talent Acquisition/Human ResourcesSecond: Onsite Interview with Hiring Manager and TeamSRS provides financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and program management services to captive insurance companies.
