This class has been identified by AXA XL as an exciting growth area with excellent prospects for the successful underwriter to grow their profile and advance their career.What You'll Be DoingResponsible for same‑day quote turnarounds, quoting 7 to 14 new business opportunities each day.Assist in achieving profitable premium and rate goals, working with actuarial and claims teams to deliver results consistent with the financial plan.Collaborate across business units and functions to underwrite, manage, and service a cyber and technology renewal book and produce new business in accordance with the unit goals.Exercise discretion and self‑supported judgment in the analysis and evaluation of risk.Participate in roundtable discussions on risk assessment.Negotiate with producers within delegated authority and established underwriting standards to achieve profit objectives.Build and enhance relationships with assigned brokers and clients to identify and establish new distribution relationships.Maintain expertise with the products, services, priorities and target markets to more effectively enable clients to uncover hidden cyber risks.Promote the company's expertise by participating in industry conferences and events.Maintain compliance with all internal and external underwriting guidelines and legal requirements.You will report to the Head of Wholesale.What You Will BringRequired Skills And AbilitiesA bachelor's degree or equivalent.Some cyber and technology underwriting experience or underwriting experience in another area of expertise with a robust conceptual comprehension of data security, privacy, cyber and information risk.Ability to travel a minimum of 15% of the time.Desired Skills And AbilitiesExceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to perform accurate mathematical calculations.Excellent collaborative skills in a fast‑paced team‑centric environment.Robust interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills.Ability to demonstrate critical thinking, decision making, and problem‑solving skills.What We OfferCompetitive salary range: USD $57,800 – $107,000, adjusted for skills, experience and location.Comprehensive benefits including a competitive retirement savings plan, health and wellness programs, and flexible working arrangements.Opportunities for professional development and learning to advance careers.Inclusive workplace culture with equal employment opportunity regardless of gender, sexual orientation, age, ethnicity, disability, or other protected characteristics.AXA XL is an Equal Opportunity Employer.#J-18808-Ljbffr
