The Associate plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, completing reconciliations, and contributing to a reliable financial source of truth.Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting and CloseSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multi-entity structuresPrepare draft entity-level and consolidated financial reports for reviewAssist in ensuring accuracy and alignment across client entities and reporting periodsPerform quarter-over-quarter variance analysis and support explanation preparationInvestment and Partnership AccountingAssist with accounting for investment portfolios, including partnerships and alternative assetsTrack capital activity, including contributions, distributions, and allocationsReconcile investment activity between custodians and general ledgerInter-Entity Accounting and ReconciliationSupport intercompany accounting and reconciliation across client entitiesTrack and reconcile inter-entity balancesInvestigate and escalate discrepancies for resolutionCash Management and ReconciliationsPerform bank, credit card, and brokerage reconciliationsValidate cash activity against expected transactionsIdentify and follow up on outstanding reconciling itemsSystems and Data IntegrityMaintain accurate financial data within Sage Intacct or similar systemsAssist in identifying data inconsistencies and support resolutionEnsure alignment between internal records and external data sourcesProject Management and ExecutionSupport the reporting calendar and assist in meeting deadlinesManage assigned tasks across multiple engagementsEnsure work is completed, documented, and communicated appropriatelyCross-Functional CoordinationPartner with Reporting Managers, Advisory, and Tax teams to support reporting needsEnsure financial data is organized and accessible for broader useContribute to reducing rework through accuracy and consistencyClient and Family Office SupportPrepare supporting materials for client deliverablesAssist with ad hoc reporting and analysis requestsForward-Looking AnalysisSupport cash flow tracking and liquidity reportingAssist in preparing data for forward-looking financial insightsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required1 – 3+ years of experience in public accounting, family office, or financial servicesExposure to multi-entity or partnership accounting preferredExperience with Sage Intacct or similar accounting systems preferredStrong Excel skills and comfort working with large datasetsFoundational reconciliation and analytical capabilitiesStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesWillingness to learn and develop within a complex environmentClear and professional communication skillsAbility to work effectively within a teamStrong organizational discipline, work ethic, and ownership mindsetComfort working with complex data and evolving processesInterest in developing expertise in family office accounting and reportingWhat Success Looks Like:Accurate and timely completion of assigned reporting and reconciliationsMinimal errors and strong attention to detailIncreasing independence in handling client workEffective collaboration with team members and managersGrowing understanding of multi-entity structures and reportingVisa Sponsorship: Please note, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for the position offered.
