The Structural Design role will leverage expertise in Revit and AutoCAD to produce comprehensive concrete plan and section drawings. The role will develop detailed steel structure drawings and layout pipe racks and supports. The role will include creating stair detailing plans and sections, as well as scheduling columns and beams. The role will also coordinate with other disciplines to resolve model clashes and ensure seamless integration. The role functions under moderate supervision but allows for some independent judgment.ResponsibilitiesSupport structural engineers with drawing development and layout.Complete red line mark-ups and address design comments.Work on steel structure drawing development.Perform tasks involving pipe rack framing/support layout.Generate stair detailing plans and sections utilizing Revit/AutoCAD.Understand level of detail at project design gates/milestones.Manage column and beam scheduling.Flexibility to adapt and execute various additional assignments based on evolving needs.May provide mentorship, guidance, support, and knowledge-sharing to help less experienced team members develop their skills and grow within their roles.Skills and CompetenciesProficient in using Revit/AutoCAD.Practical knowledge in concrete plan and section drawing development.Skilled in stair detailing plans and sections.Understanding of cross discipline model coordination/clash resolution.ExperienceTypically requires a minimum of 2 years in structural design or related experience.EducationA degree in structural design or related field or equivalent experience is required.Salary RangeThe anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee's primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education.
