DescriptionYou will be a C-130J Pilot for the C-130 Flight Operations team. Our team is responsible for conducting acceptance check flights of newly assembled C-130J aircraft and flight test of modified aircraft.We are where the "Rubber meets the Road" for all new C-130J aircraft and capabilities coming out of our Marietta plant.ResponsibilitiesConduct production acceptance, functional check, and engineering test flights on new or modified aircraftPilot AMMM aircraft on delivery and ferry flightsPilot AMMM aircraft on airshow demonstrationsConduct demonstration flights with customers, government officials, or media representative to exhibit performance, flying qualities and system capabilitiesProvide pilot input to flight test, production, engineering, training, customer support, advanced development and business development teamsDefine requirements and develop Statement of Work for C-130 aircraft production acceptance, training, and engineering design supportDevelop and review ground and flight test plansConduct Safety Reviews, First Flight Readiness Reviews and Design ReviewsReview, validate, verify, and update aircraft flight manualsProvide classroom, simulator, and flight instruction for company and customer aircrewBasic QualificationsPilot with at least 2000 hours Pilot-In-Command (PIC) time in multiengine aircraft200 hours PIC during engineering and/or acceptance flights in multiengine transport type aircraftFAA Commercial Pilot or Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificateCurrent or formerly qualified military Instructor PilotCurrent FAA Second Class or First Class medical or able to obtain within 30 days of hiringSecret Security ClearanceDesired SkillsTop Secret Security Clearance or able to obtainFAA Licenses: Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) - Airplane Multi-engine LandFlight Instructor (CFI) - Airplane Multi-engine and/or Instrument Airplane300 hours PIC in transport type aircraftCurrent and qualified as a C-130J Instructor Pilot or Flight ExaminerInstructor Experience - courseware development, platform and simulator instruction, and in-flight instructionExperience in writing and reviewing technical publicationsExperience with AFI 10-220 / DCMA INST 8210-1 and contract flight operationsExperience with C-130J Tactical Operations and/or Special OperationsCurrent or previously qualified to conduct C-130 Functional or Acceptance Check Flight (FCF/ACF) operationsExperience in legacy C-130 models (e.g. C-130H, KC-130T)Graduate of weapons or tactics school, safety school, or advanced instrument schoolCurrent passportWilling to work evenings and weekends and willing to travel domestically and internationally for up to 30 days at a timeSecurity ClearanceThis position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
