This full-time leave coverage opportunity offers the chance to serve as a key member of the Child Study Team, working with approximately 40 students in grades 6–8 to support their academic, social, and emotional development.Assignment Details:- Location: Bridgewater, NJ (serving surrounding areas)- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM- Duration: September 1, 2026 – December 23, 2026- Caseload: Approximately 40 students- Grade Levels: 6th–8th- Role: Member of the Child Study TeamKey Qualifications:- Valid New Jersey certification as a School Psychologist (required)- Previous experience working in a school setting, preferably with middle school students- Strong knowledge of Child Study Team processes and special education regulations- Experience conducting psychological evaluations and interpreting assessment data- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environmentPrimary Responsibilities:- Serve as an active member of the Child Study Team, supporting student evaluations and services- Conduct initial evaluations, re-evaluations, and psychological assessments in compliance with NJ state guidelines- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement IEPs and intervention plans- Provide counseling and crisis support services as needed- Support students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs to enhance academic success- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state policies- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development opportunitiesCompensation for this position ranges from $45.11 to $65.11.
