In this role you will travel extensively to deploy one new security system per week across various distribution centers. Qualified candidates must possess strong Cat 6 termination skills and the technical expertise required to install CCTV servers. The position demands reliable personal transportation and excellent communication skills to ensure seamless coordination at each job site.Key InformationPer‑Diem paid when overnight travel is requiredDrive time and mileage paid for use of a personal vehicle when travel is required40 plus labor hours per weekOvernight work depending on the site4‑5 months of workOpportunity to return home every 4 to 6 weeks during any gaps in the rollout scheduleMUST be able to travel extensivelyReliable transportationValid driver's license with a clean driving record; no DUI or DWI in the last three yearsMust be able to safely lift 30‑70 poundsRequirementsAbility to test and terminate CCTV, Cat 6Experience reading blueprints and site mapsExperience in Access Control, voice, and data cabling is a plusAssist with pre‑installation opportunities by designing and planning technical solutionsKnowledgeable in closeouts and MDFsAbility to troubleshoot switches, Wi‑Fi, and routersCertified to operate a BOOM or scissor lift, and ability to work at heightsPerform new installs and provide technical escalation support both on‑site at customer locations and remotely via phone and specialized toolsMust have knowledge of cabling infrastructureExperience in conduit installation is a plusExcellent customer relationship and communication skills; verbal and writtenHas basic telecommunication tools and PPEComputer / laptop / smartphone proficiencyHighly proficient with the use of email, spreadsheets, and the ability to learn internal systemsResponsibilitiesInstall, troubleshoot, and repair cabling systems and equipment in IP Video camerasInstall CCTV, Cat 6 cable, cabinets and switchesRun low voltage cabling in the DCs, including drilling concrete walls and limited conduit workComplete all wiring, connections, and equipment installations ensuring that CCTV systems are complete with total customer satisfaction and contractual requirementsAssist and collaborate with the Installation Team Lead or Project Manager regarding on‑site work schedules and timely delivery of equipmentConduct tests to ensure all newly installed systems and component devices are operationalWe are an equal opportunity employer.
