The posting will remain active for AY 26‑27 hiring (Fall, Spring, and Summer). Part‑time faculty positions are semester‑based, report directly to the Department Chair, and may be conducted in face‑to‑face, online, hybrid, and/or blended formats. These positions require additional time outside of class to provide written feedback to students and to meet individually with students throughout the semester. Classes are offered morning, afternoon, and evening including weekends.ResponsibilitiesDevelop course curricula, including the syllabus, lesson plans, and graded assignments in accordance with the requirements of the upper‑division program and in consultation with the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs.Review, evaluate, and recommend student learning materials.Evaluate students to measure their progress in achieving institutional and course goals.Timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.Minimum QualificationsA minimum of a master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 30 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.Terminal degree in the teaching discipline.1‑year college‑level teaching.Sustained professional engagement that demonstrates relevance and currency in the field of teaching.Knowledge and CompetenciesStrong commitment to undergraduate education, student engagement, and service to the college and community.
