SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.Responsibilities:.Perform duties assigned by the Regional Purchasing Manager.Purchaser is responsible for coordinating and managing procurement of medications and pharmacy supplies.Coordinate effective purchasing, optimal inventory levels.Handle continuous availability of medications to support efficient pharmacy operations.Verify product availability, pricing and expiration datesReceiving order from all vendors and correctly process into systemResponsible for inventory, place orders, checks drugs & suppliesAssist with department training, as needed.Work closely with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and distributors.Process purchasing reports and maintain accurate inventory levels.Responsible for pharmacy standards, maintained and adherence policies.Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.Complete any other task assigned by the Regional Purchasing Manager.Qualifications:Pharmacy Technician experience, preferredEfficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) proficientFrameworks experience preferredTraining is available for those interested in the roleStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsAbility to work independently, accurately, and effectively.Ability to occasionally perform light lifting (up to 25 pounds) and repetitious physical activity.Strong attention to detailAbility to travel, as neededMust be able to multi-taskEEO Statement, SpecialtyRx, Inc. is fully committed to employing a diverse workforce.
