The senior accountant is responsible for applying accepted accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.Duties & ResponsibilitiesGeneral Ledger Maintenance: Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the general ledger. Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts.Reconciliation: Conduct bank and balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy.Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements and reports. Support external audits and reviews.Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
