We are seeking dependable, energetic, and high-functioning team members to join our operations during one of the city's biggest international events.Position OverviewThe Catering Specialist – FIFA Activation role is designed for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and can contribute beyond basic kitchen responsibilities. This position supports food production, prep, packaging, operational setup, cleanliness, and overall event execution.We are looking for team members with urgency, professionalism, adaptability, and a strong work ethic who are excited to be part of a high-energy culinary experience.This is a seasonal W2 position with the opportunity for long-term placement with Social Express Catering & Meal Prep following FIFA activations based on performance and operational needs.CompensationStarting Pay: $20/hour (W2)Meals provided during shiftsOpportunity for continued employment after FIFA activationsExciting, team-oriented event environmentResponsibilitiesAssist with food preparation and kitchen productionPrepare menu items according to recipes and quality standardsSupport meal packaging and organization for service and transportMaintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout operationsAssist with setup, breakdown, and operational support during activationsHelp maintain kitchen efficiency during high-volume service periodsRestock inventory, supplies, and packaging materials as neededFollow all food safety and kitchen proceduresWork collaboratively with chefs, kitchen staff, and managementAssist with loading and unloading supplies and equipment when neededContribute wherever needed to help ensure successful operationsQualificationsPrevious kitchen, catering, meal prep, or food service experience preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentStrong work ethic and positive attitudeDependable transportation requiredAbility to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbsFlexible availability including mornings, nights, weekends, and long event daysAbility to follow directions while also thinking independentlyFood Handler or ServSafe certification is a plusIdeal CandidateTeam player with a strong sense of urgencyDependable, punctual, and solution-orientedTakes pride in presentation, cleanliness, and professionalismAdaptable and willing to contribute in multiple areas of operationsPassionate about hospitality, food, and delivering a great guest experienceScheduleSeasonal schedule based around FIFA match and activation dates throughout June and July.
