Though no two roles are the same, each individual is connected through a shared commitment to great service, celebrating one another, and serving the highest quality food and beverage available.What is the Job?The Senior Accountant plays a key role in the day-to-day accounting operations of Hopkins and Company. This includes maintaining accurate financial records, supporting accounts payable and receivable, and assisting in the preparation of weekly, period, and monthly financial reporting. This role works closely with Senior Leadership and the Human Resources Manager to ensure payroll, financial entries, and reconciliations are completed accurately and on time. The Senior Accountant also partners with restaurant management teams to support financial logbooks and ensure consistency across all locations.ResponsibilitiesOversee daily accounting operations across multiple restaurant brands, including sales integrations, reconciliations, AP/AR, cash management, and financial record accuracyPrepare and distribute weekly and period financial reporting, including manager P&Ls, ledgers, and variance trackingSupport payroll oversight, labor reporting, and bonus/incentive tracking in partnership with HRAssist with month‑end close, bank reconciliations, tax filings, audit preparation, and compliance trackingMaintain accurate coding, invoice management, and organized financial documentation across systemsPartner with restaurant leadership to ensure consistent financial processes and timely communication around discrepancies or operational concernsIdentify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and financial workflows across the companySkills & QualificationsStrong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft ExcelExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environmentUnderstanding of financial controls, reporting, and payroll processesBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred4+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations experience requiredHospitality or multi‑unit restaurant experience strongly preferredIf you are interested in applying for this position, we ask that you complete the application fully, including work history, questionnaire and professional references.
