LHH is partnering with a local ATL based company, seeking an experienced Controller to lead all accounting operations for a growing manufacturing organization, located East of Atlanta. This role will oversee financial reporting, cost accounting, internal controls, and team leadership while partnering closely with operations to drive performance and profitability.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, month‑end close, and financial reportingPrepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAPOversee and optimize the month‑end close process to ensure timely and accurate reportingManage and develop accounting staff, providing mentorship and performance oversightDrive cost accounting functions including inventory valuation, standard costing, and variance analysisPartner with plant/operations leadership to analyze KPIs, margins, and operational performanceLead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processesEstablish and maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory standardsServe as the primary liaison with external auditors and support audit processesIdentify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and scalability across the accounting functionQualificationsBachelor's degree in AccountingCPA required5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment requiredProgressive accounting experience with at least 3+ years in a leadership role (Controller, Assistant Controller, or similar)Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and manufacturing KPIsAdvanced Excel SkillsExperience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)#J-18808-Ljbffr
