Learn more about our growing team at apollomd.com.Position SummaryThe Staff Accountant will assist the accounting team with accounting functions related to General Ledger such as expense allocations, accrued expenses, prepaid expenses, T&E approvals, payroll and monthly reporting tasks. The Staff Accountant will also assist with reconciliations, journal entry preparation and preparing financial reports.Allocates expenses to subsidiaries and cost centers on a monthly basisPrepares various monthly journal entries and reclasses including prepaid amortizationAssists with the preparation of monthly and quarterly accrued expenses and roll-forwardAssists with monthly expense analytics and variance analysisPrepares monthly reconciliations for management reviewAssists with annual financial auditPerforms other tasks and responsibilities as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting2-5 years of experience in general ledger accounting or 1 year of public accountingMotivated and curious about the purpose behind their workProficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) with advanced Excel skills such as PivotTable and VLOOKUP functionExperience with NetSuite preferredTeam player with excellent organizational skills and ability to work independentlyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHybrid - Two (2) days in office per weekIndependent Physicians Resource, Inc. is committed to the principles of equal employment opportunity and strives to avoid all discrimination.
