Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night shift: 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a large facility and level 1 trauma centers. The ED RN will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for patients in the emergency department.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in the emergency department.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions.
- Document patient assessments and care accurately in medical records.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with hospital policies.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric nursing experience.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
- TNCC and ENPC certifications preferred.
- Active RN license in the relevant state.
