Pay rate commensurate with candidate experience level. 1st and 2nd shift available.ResponsibilitiesRepair, troubleshooting and diagnosis of modern tour busesReconditioning, preventative and routine maintenanceInspections and road testsWarranty and repair documentationDiagnosis, inspection, installation, disassembly and cleaning of components such as brakes, suspension, tires, bearings, seals, radiators, water pumps, coolant hoses, alternators, regulators, steering components, oil/air filters, door assemblies, controls, seats, belts, electric motors, pneumatic valves, cables, and linkages.Respond to road callsBasic welding/fabricationClass B Mechanics will assist Level Mechanics with skilled work and train/supervise C Level MechanicsClass A Mechanics will train and supervise Mechanics and CleanersRequirements(B) 4-7 years of diesel engine maintenance(A) 7+ years of diesel engine maintenance(A) Proficient in the use of diagnostic devices such as DDEC readers, ATEC readers, SmarTire, schematics, AIC (Freon) recovery and charging equipmentProven ability to use hand tools, power tools, hydraulic jacks, welding equipment, and testing instrumentsMust have experience working with heavy duty Volvo engines, vehicle HVAC and exhaust aftertreatment skillsMust have own tools according to levelValid driver's licenseBasic computer skillsCDL License with Passenger and Airbrake endorsement is a plus but not required, willingness to obtain a CDL License is also desirableBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision, Prescription and Life insuranceSupplemental coverages401K planPaid time off and holiday payAcademy is an equal opportunity employer#J-18808-Ljbffr
