MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANWe are seeking a skilled and safety‑conscious Maintenance Technician to join our team in a clean, indoor food production facility. This role is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on a wide range of production equipment, systems, and infrastructure to ensure continuous and efficient plant operations. The ideal candidate has experience in industrial maintenance and a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in food manufacturing environments.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSPerform routine and emergency maintenance on production machinery including pumps, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, valves, filters, and packaging equipment.Conduct preventative maintenance (PM) activities according to the PM schedule and document completed work.Maintain an organized schedule and communicate issues, project completions, and updates as needed to interested parties.Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems (motors, sensors, switches, panels, PLC I/O devices).Maintain HVAC, compressed air, steam, and hydraulic systems as needed.Ensure equipment is operating within food safety and quality specifications.Assist in equipment installations, modifications, and continuous improvement projects.Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and respond promptly to equipment failures.Follow all safety policies and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE use, and food safety regulations.Support facility audits and inspections by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and compliance in maintenance areas.REQUIREMENTSEnglish speaking and comprehension; Bilingual (Spanish)Minimum of 2+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experienceEducation – High School diploma or GEDBasic computer skillsAbility to work independently with excellent attention to detailFamiliarity with food safety and GMP standards in food manufacturingMust be punctual and reliableAbility to work independently and in a team environmentBENEFITSMedical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401k, and PTO (60 days after permanent, full‑time employment)Career development opportunitiesGrowing company with opportunities for advancementEmployee Review after 90 days with potential for salary increase (90 days after permanent, full‑time employment)Uniforms provided after 90 days (90 days after permanent, full‑time employment)DISCLOSURESThe above statements describe the general nature and level of work performed.
