This role combines inbound lead qualification, strategic outbound prospecting, account research, and account‑based engagement to create qualified opportunities for the sales team.The ideal candidate is proactive, coachable, organized, and comfortable engaging prospective customers through email, phone, LinkedIn, events, and strategic campaigns. This role works closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Business Development leadership to identify opportunities, engage target accounts, and create a qualified pipeline.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate a qualified pipeline through a combination of inbound lead follow‑up, strategic outbound prospecting, account research, and account‑based engagementRespond to and qualify inbound inquiries, marketing‑generated leads, event attendees, contact form submissions, and other inbound opportunitiesResearch target accounts, industries, buying groups, and market activity to develop personalized outreach strategiesIdentify and engage target personas within strategic accounts through phone, email, LinkedIn, events, and other channelsUnderstand customer business challenges, priorities, buying timelines, organizational objectives, and overall fitBuild relationships with prospective customers and generate qualified meetings and pipeline opportunities for the sales teamUtilize CRM, account intelligence, intent data, and sales engagement tools to prioritize target accounts and outreach activitiesMaintain accurate activity tracking, lead status, account updates, and opportunity handoff processes within Salesforce and related systemsPartner closely with Account Executives to prioritize target accounts, develop outreach strategies, and create pipeline opportunitiesSupport account‑based marketing (ABM) initiatives through coordinated outreach and engagement within target accountsParticipate in account planning activities and strategic account reviewsSupport follow‑up efforts tied to trade shows, field events, webinars, campaigns, and marketing programsCollaborate cross‑functionally with Sales and Marketing to improve messaging, engagement, and pipeline performanceProvide feedback on campaign performance, prospect engagement trends, competitive insights, and market feedback to improve future programsPreferred Qualifications1–5 years of experience in business development, sales development, lead generation, or a related roleStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong prospecting, relationship‑building, and account research skillsSelf‑motivated, coachable, and results‑oriented mindsetAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailComfortable engaging stakeholders across multiple levels of an organizationInterest in supply chain technology, warehouse automation, robotics, logistics, SaaS, or enterprise softwareExperience with Salesforce, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, 6sense, Outreach or similar sales and marketing technology platforms preferredExperience supporting outbound prospecting, inbound lead qualification, ABM initiatives, or enterprise sales motions is a plusSupply chain, logistics, warehouse automation, robotics, material handling, SaaS, or enterprise software experience preferred.Why Join GreyOrange?GreyOrange helps some of the world's largest retailers, manufacturers, and logistics providers optimize operations through intelligent software and automation solutions.
