VP of M&A - RemoteA fully remote opportunity to join a top-tier M&A advisory firm as a Vice President , playing a critical leadership role across all phases of the deal lifecycle. This position offers direct ownership of transaction execution, significant client-facing responsibility, and close partnership with senior leadership in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.The VP will lead a team of analysts, drive business development initiatives, and oversee end-to-end deal execution while mentoring junior team members and ensuring best-in-class delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesTransaction Leadership & ExecutionLead end-to-end execution of M&A transactions, from initial analysis through closingOversee the development and review of complex financial models utilizing OEM financials and third-party dataDirect the preparation of executive-level materials, including CIMs, pitch decks, and transaction summariesEvaluate financial performance and develop forward-looking projections based on market and macroeconomic trendsManage due diligence processes, coordinating with internal teams and external advisors (legal, tax, quality of earnings, etc.)Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, driving communication, managing expectations, and ensuring timeline adherenceMonitor deal progress, key milestones, and performance metrics to ensure successful executionMarket Strategy & Business DevelopmentDevelop deep industry expertise through analysis of market trends, competitive dynamics, and internal dataProduce strategic insights and thought leadership on market conditions, regulatory developments, and sector activityIdentify and pursue new business opportunities through CRM analytics, pipeline management, and client relationship developmentSupport senior leadership in origination efforts, including pitch development and client presentationsTeam Leadership & DevelopmentMentor and develop Analysts and Associates, providing guidance on financial modeling, deliverables, and client interactionEnsure quality control across all workstreams and foster a high-performance, collaborative team environmentBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (MBA or advanced certification preferred)Progressive experience in M&A, investment banking, or transaction advisory, with demonstrated deal execution experienceStrong leadership presence with proven ability to manage multiple transactions and client relationships simultaneouslyEntrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solutions-oriented approachExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholdersAdvanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modelingBenefitsSalary range is disclosed in this posting.
