The position is responsible for creating and maintaining sales in existing accounts, prospecting for new accounts at Lift Truck Dealers, End Users, and supporting National Accounts. The position will interact with other Stryten personnel in OEM and National Accounts to support and sell our TCO models. The successful individual will explore and share best practices throughout the organization. The successful individual will have demonstrated the ability to work on a cross‑functional basis across business units and within the corporation.This is a HOME‑BASED position that must be located in the southeast.ResponsibilitiesProspect, identify, qualify, target, sell, and visit accounts fitting the Stryten profileDevelop strategies that enable Stryten to approach customers with a unified sales and service programServe as the primary contact to existing and new customers by providing personal sales visits, resolving issues, and communicating informationEnsure coverage of national accounts through OEM and ZoneManagers as well as internal support staffAdhere to permanent as well as quarterly work instructionsComplete monthly power studiesUtilize Stryten InCOMMAND for creating TCO within the Stryten modeling softwareHelp tailor products and programs to the needs of all accountsAssist in controlling working capital, including overdue accounts receivableOperate within an acceptable sales‑to‑expense ratioForecast and track sales activity for assigned accountsComplete projects and reports in a timely fashionPerform additional tasks and functions as determined by the Zone Manager, which may include, but are not limited to:Representing Stryten at trade showsHelping train new regional sales managersPresenting at sales meetingsOther duties as assignedTravel, other requirements: The estimated overnight travel for the position is 50%.QualificationsA BS Degree (or in process) in business, engineering, or a related field is preferredExperience within the material handling industry—lift truck or industrial battery salesA progressively responsible career history and demonstrated success in territory sales or key account managementWell‑developed sales management skillsStrong written, communication, and interpersonal skills are essentialExcellent computer skills with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and InternetThe ability to develop talent and motivate employees in a fast‑paced, changing environment is necessaryAn outstanding track record of leading others, influencing decisions, and making a positive impactEnergy, initiative, and results orientation are requiredA high level of business acumen and the quantitative/analytical capacity to understand complex sales processesSkills to effectively use CRM tools in managing opportunities, winning/losing projects, and achieving target objectivesCollaboration with the National Account team and execution of the National Account strategy and programs in the regionCollaborative work style, one that solicits ideas and shares information to develop creative solutions and winning strategiesResourcefulness and creativity, with excellent time management and organizational skillsTechnical competency and PC proficiency, including standard business software and the InternetIntegrity, team orientation, and desire to overachieve are of the utmost importanceTravel, other requirementsThe estimated overnight travel for the position is 50%.#J-18808-Ljbffr
