CERTIFIED SUBSTANCE ABUSE/ADDICTION COUNSELORHUGS Recovery Centers is a substance abuse treatment/recovery program located in Atlanta, Ga. We are looking for a Contract Counselor experienced and dedicated licensed CAC II Counselor to be part of our dynamic team. The chosen counselor will report directly to the Clinical Director and will coordinate workflow with other counselors. The counselor will be responsible for:IntakeBasic computer skills / Conduct patient orientation to the programComplete psychosocial assessment and treatment plan appropriate to client's needs and goalsTreatmentSchedule and meet with clients for individual and/or group counseling in accordance with individual treatment plan.Document client achievement of goals based on 30-day plans and review with client every 30 days for updates as neededDocument all counseling and group notes on the day of sessionMake referrals as needed for continuity of careCommunicate with the program staff team regarding treatment plans and medication managementParticipate in bi-monthly clinical reviews with clinical staff teamAdditional ResponsibilitiesBe aware and understand all State and Federal laws and regulations regarding HIPPA and client confidentialityConduct group sessions based on client needs identified by treatment plansReport suspicious client activities to the clinical staff teamParticipate in counselor treatment team and staff meetingsJob TypeContract PositionPayCommensurate with experienceScheduleMonday, Wednesday & Friday Evening (negotiable)COVID‑19 ConsiderationsAll clients, visitors, and staff are required to wear masks inside the office, have temperature checks as required when entering, and notify appropriate staff if you have any symptoms of COVID‑19.ExperienceSubstance Abuse Counseling: 1 year or moreLanguageEnglish or bilingualLicense/CertificationCAC I/II Certification, LPC or LCSW (Required)#J-18808-Ljbffr
