Work ScheduleMonday - Friday; 3:00am - 3:00pmJob DescriptionThe Specialist - Quality will be responsible for ensuring raw material and product integrity along with other Quality Assurance activities for the plant to include syrup and/or beverage preparation and distribution, microbiology, sanitation, finished product analysis, package integrity testing, and process control by following all current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).ResponsibilitiesTest finished product as well as specific packaging attributes as described by our Parent Company to ensure that our finished products meet required specificationsPerform Micro sample collection and testingBlend syrup and/or finished product (hot fill) from concentrateInternal and external cleaning/sanitation of production machinery and storage areasPerforms appropriate duties as assigned by managementQualificationsMinimum age 18 years oldPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policiesRegular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the jobAbility to read, write and speak EnglishAbility to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelinesAbility to maintain safety and security of Company assetsAbility to utilize all Company provided resources and technologyAbility to demonstrate independence, analytical skills, and strategic thinkingHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 6 to 12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceWillingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as requiredAbility to execute lab analysis on varying pieces of equipment and instrumentsAbility to work independently as well as, with all functional team membersEffective interpersonal, quality management, problem solving, time management, multi-tasking, and communication skillsAbility to climb 10 - 12 ft ladderPhysical RequirementsPosition will be required to comply with the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment Program.
