Hull's is looking for a diesel mechanic who is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repairs of company vehicles.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesSchedule and ensure required inspections of company vehicles are performed and meet the desired standardPerform routine maintenance/repairs on company vehicles crucial to the safe operation of the fleetSchedule and ensure that all safety related repairs and driver requested repairs are performed dailyProtect the health and welfare of all employees by enforcing best fleet safety practicesKeep tools, equipment and shop area clean and organized and in good working conditionComplete and submit company forms; work orders, purchased parts/equipment, fleet records, etc.Must be willing to work beyond normal work hours, must be available for night-time/weekend workUnderstand and comply with all DOT regulations and applicable lawsComply with on-going and random drug testing/physicals as required by the CompanySkills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED equivalent required3 years in the mechanic trade; to include small and large vehicles and equipment.
