Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United StatesJoin Axon and be a Force for Good.Your ImpactWhat You'll DoLocation: Onsite – Scottsdale, AZ | Atlanta, GA | Sterling (DC), VA up to 40% travelReports To: Director, Global FacilitiesScope: East Coast Facilities OperationsOversee the daily operations, maintenance, repair, and overall performance of office, warehouse, and manufacturing facilities across the East Coast region.Ensure facilities consistently deliver a safe, reliable, and high-quality experience for employees, customers, and visitors.Manage preventative maintenance programs, repairs, work orders, inspections, and vendor performance with a focus on responsiveness, efficiency, and minimal operational disruption.Coordinate and oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, life safety, and other critical building systems across multiple locations.Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders by understanding operational needs, gathering alignment on priorities, and providing thoughtful, solutions-oriented support.Seek input and buy-in from cross‑functional partners and leadership before implementing significant operational changes, projects, or facility initiatives.Serve as a trusted point of contact during facility‑related issues, responding calmly and effectively to urgent or critical situations.Oversee third‑party vendors and service providers to ensure work is completed safely, professionally, on time, and within budget.Review facility projects, designs, and specifications to ensure compliance with applicable building codes, environmental standards, and regulatory requirements.Ensure records related to inspections, permits, maintenance activities, and compliance requirements remain up to date.Develop and manage maintenance and operational budgets with a disciplined, resource‑conscious approach while identifying opportunities for efficiency and continuous improvement.Support space planning and future growth initiatives in partnership with business leaders and cross‑functional teams.Identify opportunities to improve sustainability, energy efficiency, and overall facility performance.Support cross‑functional Environmental Health & Safety and Physical Security initiatives across the region.Contribute to a collaborative, respectful, and service‑oriented culture grounded in accountability, teamwork, transparency, and best intentions.What You Bring5+ years of progressive experience in facilities operations, building maintenance, construction, or related environments with responsibility across multiple sites.Strong working knowledge of commercial and industrial building systems, maintenance practices, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.A customer‑first mindset with a demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships across diverse teams and functions.Proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments and build alignment among stakeholders before executing key initiatives or operational changes.High ownership mentality with the ability to independently prioritize, problem‑solve, and execute in fast‑paced environments while keeping partners informed and aligned.Strong organizational, communication, and decision‑making skills with a calm, practical approach to challenges.Experience managing vendors, contractors, and facility service providers to high standards of quality and accountability.Ability to balance strategic planning with hands‑on operational execution.Experience with CMMS or other facilities management systems.Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred.Certified Facilities Manager (CFM) certification is a plus.Experience supporting sustainability or energy management initiatives is a plus.What Success Looks LikeEmployees experience clean, safe, reliable, and well‑run spaces every day.Facilities issues are addressed proactively, professionally, and with urgency.Internal customers view Facilities as a trusted partner and problem solver.Stakeholders feel informed, included, and aligned on key operational decisions and facility initiatives.Vendors and projects are managed with accountability, transparency, and high standards.Operations scale smoothly to support company growth while maintaining an exceptional workplace experience.Team members and stakeholders feel respected, supported, and heard.Work LocationThis role is based out of our Scottsdale, AZ, Atlanta, GA, or Sterling, VA office locations and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in‑person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation.
