Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of imaging specialists committed to delivering unparalleled care. In this role, you'll leverage cutting-edge ultrasound technology to perform essential diagnostic tasks, collaborate with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals, and provide peace of mind to patients through accurate and prompt imaging.
Key Responsibilities - Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, which may include abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly communicating each step with empathy and professionalism
- Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
- Document procedures accurately and manage patient records through the electronic medical system
- Keep abreast of developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
Education Requirements - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- A completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
Certifications Required - Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
