Public Finance Associate Attorney to support its
Specialty Finance practice in Atlanta. This opportunity is ideal for an early-career associate interested in
tax-exempt bond finance,
economic development incentives, and
public-private partnerships, with exposure to sophisticated transactions involving real estate, financial services, and corporate finance. The role offers hands-on responsibility, direct client interaction, and meaningful collaboration within a collegial, growth-oriented environment.
Candidate Profile - JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in Georgia, in good standing
- 1-3 years of substantive transactional experience in public finance transactions
- Background in real estate, financial services, or corporate transactional practice
- Demonstrated interest in traditional tax-exempt bond finance, economic development incentives, and public and private partnerships
- Excellent drafting, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, client-service-oriented mindset
Key Responsibilities- Draft, review, and negotiate loan documents and related transaction materials
- Manage deal workflows, including coordination with internal teams, clients, and third-party participants to ensure timely execution
- Interface directly with clients, lenders, and other deal participants
- Support senior attorneys on public finance and specialty finance transactions
- Assist with business development initiatives and client relationship management efforts

Compensation & Benefits - Competitive Salary: Annual base salary is expected to range from $215,000-$250,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors
