Responsibilities include detailed pre and post inspection documentation (handwritten and computer-based), use of complex test equipment, meeting with customers and representing the company brand, inspection of multiple aircraft component designs, and performing inspections in both team and individual settings.Responsibilities Perform NDT related inspectionsAssist Level II and Level III inspectors as requiredMentor co‑inspectors to gain knowledge in unfamiliar inspection techniquesComplete all required inspection documentation in a timely mannerPerform various duties assigned by Level III and NDT ManagementIndependently perform equipment setup and operationPerform system performance checks as requiredProtect intellectual and physical company propertyPrioritize work under demanding conditionsCommunicate at a high level with other team members and NDT ManagementEnsure proper tooling is in place prior to inspectionsProtect issued communication and documentation equipmentArrange for shipment of required tooling to job site and monitor tracking informationMinimum Qualifications Must be a NDT Level II Technician per NAS‑410 with documentation of education, training, and experience in the applicable NDT method(s)Working knowledge of industrial environments and general manufacturing processesEffective communication with other departments and customers to report issues and solve problemsAbility to travel and work independently while interacting with customer and on‑site personnelPrior military NDI/NDT inspectors with documented ET inspection experience are encouraged to applyAbility to learn and comply with all company policies and proceduresExcellent written and verbal communication skillsRequired to pass a drug screen and possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving recordU.S. Person requirement for access to ITAR-controlled informationWork Conditions Must wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protectionWork from heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man‑baskets, etc.Work in confined spaces requiring crawling, stooping, climbing, etc.Work in or around operating equipment and industrial environmentsWork with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film developing chemicals, etc.Work shifts up to 12 hours per day and 7 days per week; travel for extended periods of timeAbility to lift and carry 100 poundsBenefits ATS offers competitive wages and advancement opportunities.
