This part-time position (30 hours per week) plays a key role in maintaining compliance with company procedures, supporting staff with reporting, and managing day-to-day administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a
medical background, as they will be responsible for reviewing
medical questionnaires in addition to standard administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities - Promote and maintain a safe work environment in alignment with company safety standards.
- Process, track, and coordinate the completion of staff timesheets and procurement card reports.
- Ensure adherence to Southern Company administrative, accounting, and compliance procedures.
- Perform various administrative office duties, including maintaining office supplies and managing inventories.
- Coordinate meetings, events, and travel arrangements for team members and leadership.
- Support office relocations, ensuring all logistics and communication are managed efficiently.
- Create, organize, and track project correspondence, records, and documentation.
- Provide general support and perform miscellaneous assignments as directed.
- Review and verify medical questionnaires accurately and confidentially, maintaining compliance with medical privacy standards.
Experience: - Minimum of 3-5 years of administrative support experience.
- Medical background is essential - experience reviewing or managing medical documentation preferred.
- Prior experience within the energy, construction, or utilities industry is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience with data entry, document tracking, and reporting systems.
