This role exists to ensure projects meet Switch quality standards from equipment delivery through commissioning and operational turnover.You will work closely with construction teams, contractors, commissioning partners, and Operations to identify risks early, drive corrective actions, and maintain consistent quality across all project phases.What You'll Do Lead execution of site-level quality programs for assigned projectsConduct site walks, inspections, and audits to verify quality and complianceReview construction drawings, submittals, turnover packages, and quality documentationCoordinate contractors, third-party quality resources, and vendorsTrack quality issues, drive corrective actions, and verify resolutionSupport implementation of project-specific testing and quality standardsPartner with construction, commissioning, and operations teams to maintain quality expectationsSupport factory witness testing and vendor quality reviews when requiredMaintain quality documentation and reporting within Cx Alloy and related systemsSupport development of Initial Verification Checklists and Pre-Functional Testing checklistsMonitor compliance with NFPA70E, OSHA requirements, and site safety proceduresProvide technical guidance on MEP systems and construction quality practicesIdentify process improvements that increase consistency and project efficiencyPrepare project quality reports and communicate status updates to leadershipMentor team members and support onboarding and training activitiesSupport Operations during commissioning and turnover phasesParticipate in after-hours or weekend coordination during critical project milestonesWhat We're Looking For You communicate clearly with technical and non-technical teamsYou maintain high standards for quality, safety, and executionYou identify risks early and act before issues impact deliveryYou approach problems with practical, solution-oriented thinkingYou work effectively across contractors, vendors, and internal teamsYou stay organized and effective in fast-paced environmentsYou support team success through knowledge sharing and mentorshipYou operate with accountability and professionalism in mission-critical environmentsWhat You'll Bring Required:7+ years of experience in construction, commissioning, operations, or quality managementExperience supporting data center or mission-critical infrastructure projectsStrong understanding of QA/QC processes in construction or operations environmentsExperience reviewing drawings, specifications, submittals, and turnover documentationKnowledge of MEP systems and commissioning practicesFamiliarity with NFPA70E, OSHA requirements, and electrical safety proceduresExperience coordinating contractors, vendors, and third-party resourcesStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsExperience using project management and documentation platformsPreferred:Experience with Cx Alloy, EPMS, SCADA, or BMS systemsConstruction Quality Manager Certification (CCQM) or similar certificationBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Science, or related fieldWhy Switch?
