Job Description Registered Nurse - Bone Marrow Transplant (12hr Nights)Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule Shifts are scheduled from 7 PM to 7 AM and may vary.
Job Description The role involves providing care in an inpatient isolation unit, offering intermediate-level care for patients undergoing various treatments, including cell therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and blood product transfusions. You will be managing transplants occurring on the unit with a low nurse-to-patient ratio.
Responsibilities- Deliver intermediate level of care in an inpatient isolation unit.
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and blood products.
- Monitor patient progress and provide timely interventions as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the Bone Marrow Transplant specialty.
- Current AHA BLS certification is required.
- Preferred certifications: ACLS, Chemo, NIHSS.
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records system is essential.
