Role OverviewThis role is based primarily in Atlanta, GA and requires in‑office presence for four (4) days per week, mainly at 241 Ralph McGill Blvd. Additional work may be required at GPC sites or locations in and around Atlanta. The position may be filled as an analyst, specialist, or engineer depending on educational background, experience, and qualifications.The Stakeholder & Sustainability Specialist is responsible for advancing Georgia Power's sustainability strategy by supporting external engagement, fostering cross‑functional collaboration, and enhancing internal education. The specialist must understand business and strategic direction and be capable of clearly communicating information to internal and external audiences. Key responsibilities include collaborating with internal and external partners, compiling and validating sustainability data across departments, supporting the preparation of reports and presentations, and monitoring regulatory and industry trends. The role also involves organizing sustainability‑related events, stakeholder engagements, and educational activities.The specialist will contribute to the development of the company's sustainability narrative and internal resource hub, ensuring consistent messaging and integration across business units. Responsibilities include building dashboards and visualizations for internal and external reporting, developing training opportunities for sustainability employees and volunteers, and contributing to system‑wide sustainability initiatives. The specialist will assist in crafting and implementing communications that translate complex policy and environmental issues into accessible content for diverse audiences. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, collaborative environment are required.
