Hardy Family Ford is looking for an Automotive Trim and Electrical Finish Service Technician to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong automotive electrical wiring and general service technician background, with ASE & Ford certifications preferred but not required. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing what repairs need to be done for interior trim and electrical features.

Automotive Technician Responsibilities:
- Remove and reinstall vehicle interiors while maintaining OEM standards
- Install 12V systems, wiring, and electrical components such as radios, lights, mounts, and mobile computers
- Read and apply basic wiring diagrams and installation guides
- Drill, crimp, route, and secure electrical connections as required by the project scope
- Ensure quality and accuracy of each installation and verify project components
- Coordinate with internal team to meet client specifications and timelines
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer specifications
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Automotive Technician Qualifications:
- Automotive wiring and general automotive technician experience required
- Hands-on experience with electrical systems or mechanical installation
- Basic understanding of 12V automotive circuits
- High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification a plus
- Ford Certification a plus
- Previous experience at a Ford dealership is preferred
- Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
- Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
- Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
