• ClinicalShift Schedule: Full-time night shift; 3 x 12-hour shifts weekly; 7:00p - 7:30a
PATIENT INFORMATION
• Patient Demographics: Adult Critical Care patients
• Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 10-15 ICU patients per APP
• Admissions: Yes
• Rounding: Included
• Case Mix: Critically ill ICU patients in a high-acuity setting
FACILITY INFORMATION
• EMR System: Cerner
• Office Equipment Available: Standard ICU equipment
• Specialty Backup Available: Attending physicians and multi-disciplinary ICU team
• Support Staff Available: ICU nursing staff and attending MDs
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• Central line insertions
• Arterial line insertions
• ICU patient management and stabilization
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Active national and state licensure required
• Acute Care certification required for NP candidates
• Active DEA preferred
• ACNP or PA certification required
• Minimum 1-2 years of ICU APP experience required
• Proficiency in ICU procedures including central and arterial line insertions
• Local Candidates Preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage critically ill patients in a high-acuity ICU setting
• Collaborate with attending physicians to develop and implement patient care plans
• Conduct ongoing patient assessments and interventions
• Complete order entry and detailed documentation within Cerner EMR
• Participate in multi-disciplinary rounds and communicate with ICU nursing staff
