The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides compassionate, person-centered nursing care and health support to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). This role ensures the health, safety, and well-being of individuals by delivering direct clinical care, administering medications, and supporting each person's individualized care plan.
- Provide direct nursing care, including monitoring vital signs, assessing health status, and responding to medical concerns.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all nursing care, treatments, and medication administration in medical records.
- Assist in the development and implementation of person-centered care plans.
- Provide first aid and emergency care when needed; coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Georgia
- CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
