HR Generalist

A growing manufacturing company is looking to add an HR Generalist to their team. The office environment is professional yet relaxed, with a business casual dress code (jeans are welcome), a small and friendly team atmosphere, and a quieter/open-office setup.
Responsibilities:
- Process employee updates and transitions within the HRIS system
- Update titles, supervisors, pay rates, and workflow information
- Process terminations and maintain accurate employee records
- File and organize HR documentation
- Answer employee questions regarding policies and handbook procedures
- Assist with drafting and updating job descriptions
- Support general HR administrative functions as needed
Qualifications:
Required: - Prior HRIS experience
- At least 6 months of HR administrative experience or HR internship experience
- Intermediate Excel skills (formulas, totals, SUM functions, etc.)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Open to candidates with strong office administration or office management backgrounds, even without a degree
Preferred: - Manufacturing industry experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
