Regional Operations Manager
Job Purpose: To provide overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects inside Home Depot and other Retailers while working directly with Field Capital Project Merchants to manage project budgets and materials.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Planning and implementation of projects
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables
- Define project tasks and resource requirements
- Assemble and coordinate project staff
- Manage project budget
- Plan and schedule project timelines
- Track project deliverables using web based tools
- Provide direction and support to project team
- Constantly monitor and report on progress of all projects
- Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve completion
- Must be willing to travel weekly outside the state
Position Requirements:
Education and Experience Requirements:
- 3+ years work experience in Project Management
- Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
- Direct work experience in project management capacity
- Demonstrated leadership managing people
- Experience working in a team-oriented collaborative environment
- Demonstrated ability to interact with clients professionally
- Rapidly adapt and respond to changes and priorities
- Fixture Installation and Merchandising Experience
