A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for a contract position serving elementary, middle, and high school students in the Marietta, GA area, approximately 20 minutes north of Atlanta and west of Decatur. This opportunity offers a supportive educational environment, with multiple SLPs and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) on staff to collaborate with.
Responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in children across various grade levels within the school setting. The role requires working closely with students, teachers, and families to develop individualized therapy plans and monitor progress. Candidates must be adept at working in a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support for student communication needs.
Ideal candidates will hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or be completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), with experience in pediatrics and healthcare settings preferred. While the position supports speech pathology within schools, Medicaid billing is not required. Both full-time (40 hours per week) and part-time candidates are encouraged to apply.
