What You'll Do You will be theultimate gatekeeper of product excellence across four critical phases:
- First-Piece Inspection: Validate machine setups and tool changes before full production runs begin.
- In-Process Inspection: Conduct regular floor checks to catch and correct defects early.
- Incoming & Final Inspection: Audit raw materials arriving at our facility and run final checks on finished goods before they ship to clients.
- Workstation Audits: Perform routine walkthroughs to ensure operators are following standard procedures and maintaining safety standards.
What We Are Looking For
- 1-3 years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment.
- strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency with precision tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
- Experience documenting defects and issuing Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
- A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities
- First-Piece Inspection: Review and approve the first parts off a production line following a new setup, tool change, or shift change to ensure the machine is properly calibrated to meet blueprint specifications before full production runs begin.
- In-Process Inspection: Conduct regular, scheduled checks of products at various stages of the manufacturing assembly line to identify defects, deviations, or process shifts early on.
- Incoming & Final Inspection: * Inspect incoming raw materials and third-party components to verify supplier compliance.
- Perform rigorous final audits on finished goods prior to packaging and shipping to ensure zero-defect delivery to the client.
- Floor Workstation Audits: Conduct routine, random audits of workstation environments and operator logs to ensure that active floor personnel are strictly adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety standards, and quality documentation.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications.
- Utilize standard precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, dial indicators) to verify part dimensions.
- Document, log, and maintain accurate records of all inspection findings, pass/fail metrics, and test results.
- Identify, tag, and segregate non-conforming materials to prevent them from moving further down the line; issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) when necessary.
- Collaborate closely to troubleshoot quality issues on the floor.
The essential functions of this role include:
