With exposure to cutting-edge technologies-including three DaVinci XI robots-and a high-acuity mix of Ortho, Neuro, Urology, General, and Thoracic surgeries, you'll expand your skillset and gain valuable insights into diverse surgical practices and teamwork strategies.
Engage in twelve-hour night shifts (6:45 p.m.-7:15 a.m., 13 weeks), and enjoy the flexibility that travel assignments bring. Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years' recent experience as an OR RN
- Proven experience in Neuro and Thoracic surgical cases
- Valid AHA BLS certification
- Proficiency with Cerner
- Strong adaptability and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, rapidly changing environment
- No local applicants within 50 miles of Marietta, GA
Key Responsibilities: - Circulate and/or scrub in high-acuity surgical cases (Ortho, Neuro, Urology, General, Thoracic)
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Safely operate and assist with DaVinci XI robotic surgeries
- Maintain stringent compliance with safety, infection control, and documentation policies
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and advocate for patients throughout the perioperative process
