Schedule/Hours:
- Night shift: 6:30pm - 7:00am
- Includes 1 full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) per scheduling period
Preferred Qualifications: - NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist, Respiratory Care Professional license
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (or provisional, within 180 days)
- Associates or Bachelor's in Respiratory Therapy (preferred)
- 6 months of critical care experience required (0-2 years overall clinical experience accepted)
- Background with emergency departments and pediatric patients highly desirable
- Strong communication, assessment, and computer/database skills
Key Responsibilities: - Independently perform assessments and manage ventilators, airway procedures, and medication administration
- Provide patient, family, and staff education tailored to individual needs
- Mentor and precept new hires, participate in team development
- Ensure accurate documentation, patient safety, and adherence to protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic care planning
